Winston Tong | Lx Rudis | Andre Custodio

The trio of Winston Tong, Lx Rudis, and Andre Custodio perform music of an experimental nature on John the Baptist Day: Thursday, June 24th, 2021 from 9 to 10pm. In addition to Winston’s reading of his interpretation of Charles Baudelaire’s ‘The Flowers of Evil’, LX & André will perform as a duo. Expect the unexpected.

Winston Tong is an actor, playwright, visual artist, puppeteer, and singer-songwriter. He is best known for his vocals in Tuxedomoon and for winning an Obie award in puppetry for Bound Feet in 1978.

Andre Custodio is a drummer, audio environmentalist, music educator, and jazz bandleader. Currently he is best known as an unknown. His previous life was a TV kid celebrity on a local San Francisco station.

Lx Rudis was found under an acorn in Golden Gate Park on a foggy winter morning several years back. Damp and shivering, his newfound friends tried several times to return him to the wild, but he keeps returning to the cottage he calls home. If you ever encounter him, please be sure to bring a tasty snack.
