In 2019 Heikki Koskinen was awarded Finnish Music Archives’ Jazz Legend #34 Award. The Anniversary Concert will feature his jazz compositions, and arrangements of traditional Finnish songs from CD’s with sax player Steve Heckman, as well as music from his latest collaborative project with Rent Romus - ”Itkuja / Laments”.
