On Saturday, February 19 at 7:30pm, Tom's Place presents

A duo performance by Ben Davis (cello) and Chris Brown (piano+electronics)
and a trio set with special guest Kanoko Nishi (koto).

Ben Davis is a superb improvising Cellist, formerly from London, but relocated to the Bay Area during the pandemic. He visited Tom's Place in December, and played one of the most transporting solo sets I've heard in a long time. On Sat, Feb 19 at 7:30 PM he'll be performing en duo with Chris Brown, renowned pianist, composer & electronics guy. Retirement from Mills College a few years ago did not signal a pause for Chris, but the turning of a new leaf in his ground-breaking work with electronics-enhanced piano.

They'll play a duo set and a trio with a special guest to be named later.

We obviously have to make some COVID-related accomodations. Seating will be strictly limited -- we may have to turn you away if we fill our (reduced) capacity. You must be able to prove that you are vaccinated against COVID, and you must wear a mask while on the premises. We won't have any snacks, because it seems to me like that's incompatible with masking.

What constitutes adequate proof of vaccination? Any of these:
1) CDC-issued vaccination record card
2) a photo of your card on your phone
3) A digital record as issued by https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov
You'll also need some sort of ID, so we can tell that the vaccination record is yours!
