Zendrum master and Edgetone Recording artist E. “Doc” Smith brings his latest trio, featuring 7 string bass virtuoso Edo Castro Woodhouse and electric jazz guitarist David McFarland.
This trio has backed a wide variety of Bay Area groups, and has performed and recorded with many well known international artists including Brian Eno, Madonna, Mark Isham, Fareed Haque, Trey Gunn, Mark Egan, Michael Manring, Tuck Andress, Howard Levy, Steve McQuarry, Jim Lang and many others.
The MCS Trio will perform some of their critically acclaimed, original compositions, as well as new arrangements of music by John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Lenny White, Larry Coryell and more.
