7:30 pm Gas The Man
Trumpet player and composer Doug Ellington debuts his newest ensemble Gas the Man. Out of thin air, sonic dissonance gives way to a harmonious body of unified expression. All the members arise from various back grounds both musically and socially, drawn together for multiple reasons almost as varied as each of their backgrounds.
Doug Ellington - trumpet, Endika (aka) Andrew Currier - bass, Kenny Corso - guitar, Clay Bandy Jr. - drums
