An amazing opportunity for creativity, this FREE event will give insight into the opera-writing process and the opportunity to participate in a collective creative process through music and words. We will start and finish with a Sonic Mediation from Pauline Oliveros, workshop “democratic poetry-writing” with poet Donna Masini, and then create “spur of the moment sound-pieces” with composer Kurt Rohde. The event will culminate in a performance of the created sound files with the democratically created poetry.
