Andrew Barnes Jamieson as he concludes his #1000improvisations series of daily livestreamed improvisations for his 1096th solo piano improvisation. The event is a community celebration not only of the process of improvisation, but of the power that it offered as a strategy for music-making, as well as basic survival, and life itself, during times of unraveling, especially the Covid-19 pandemic, and as a way of resisting and challenging unjust systems and norms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjipsZlYlSM
