Rent Romus and
Heikki Koskinen will present the music of Itkuja Suite. This small ensemble arrangement of their large group suite inspired by Finnish Lament, improvisation and jazz elements will feature Finnish and Karelian vocals of San Francisco-Based Multi-Instrumental musician Kat Eliot.
Heikki Koskinen on e-trumpet and tenor recorder, Kat Eliot on vocals and flute, Eli Knowles on drums,
Joshua Marshall on tenor and soprano saxophones and Flute,
Bill Noertker on Double Bass,
Rent Romus alto and soprano saxophones and melodica and flutes.
Also playing is the Faults Quartet consisting of Jaroba,
Kevin Corcoran, Jorge Bachmann, and Gabby Wen. Jaroba on reed instruments, Kevin on percussion, Jorge on electronics, Gabby Wen on guqin.
