Singer David Israel Katz and percussionist Jordan Glenn scramble your cognition with spontaneous sound eruptions that flicker in all available colors of their respective instruments.
Having shared the stage in Brett Carson's Just Visiting (X-Ray Vision) and appeared together in Lisa Mezzacappa's The Electronic Lover, they now perform as a duo with music that makes zero sense.

Julie Herndon is a composer, performer, and sound artist based in California. Her work explores the body’s relationship to sound using tools like musical instruments and personal technologies.


Matias E.A. is a sound and visual artist from Oakland CA specializing in long form free improvisation, primarily using electric guitar to translate and amplify tactile gesture. Their music explores extreme rhythmic density and dynamics, intersections of timbre and pitch, generative rhetorical structures, and the discovery of common language through improvisation.

Birdhouse is an art gallery and multi-purpose community space in SF’s Sunset District.
