Pianist Caelan Cardello is shaping the sound of modern jazz with a fearless blend of technical mastery, harmonic depth, and unshakable groove. A finalist in the 2023 American Pianists Association Jazz Competition, Cardello has quickly become a sought-after voice on today’s scene, performing with luminaries including Christian McBride, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Bill Charlap, and Rufus Reid. His performances balance elegance and fire, channeling the tradition while pushing the music forward.
Joining him is Dominick “Domo” Branch, a drummer and composer redefining contemporary rhythm. Known for his dynamic presence and bold, narrative-driven compositions, Branch’s collaborations span Wynton Marsalis and The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra to Dianne Reeves and Stefon Harris, cementing him as a leading creative force in jazz today. On bass, Jonathon Muir-Cotton brings a deep, modern versatility informed by work with Esperanza Spalding, Christian Sands, Common, and Ulysses Owens Jr. His sound merges rich tradition with a forward-leaning sensibility that thrives across jazz, R&B, and beyond.
