Abstract Lounge brings a calm musical atmosphere into the Golden Gate Valley Branch Library's upstairs reading area. Patrons are encouraged to read, work, browse the collection or become absorbed in contemplation while enjoying a mind-expanding flow of sound.
San Francisco singer and improviser David Israel Katz will be spinning a wide range of avant-garde and experimental music from his vinyl collection, blending the liquid with the granular, the muddy with the foggy and the windy with the luminescent.
