Blending neoclassical, folk-inspired lyricism, and post-minimalist piano with cinematic textures and evocative soundscapes, her music creates emotionally resonant spaces for healing and deep reflection.
In this performance, she presents Green, a piano suite for healing, and new compositions including Paradox Without an End (2026, piano solo), Perfectly Imperfect (2026, piano and violin) and Cold City (2026, piano and violin). Through lyrical melodies, atmospheric layers, and subtle environmental sounds, Ting explores the paradox of maintaining inner sanctuary amid the city's relentless rhythms.
Ting also brings an improvised work in the tradition of John Cage's prepared piano — metal objects introduced into the instrument, transforming its voice into something unfamiliar and unexpectedly beautiful.
