Sigtryggur Berg Sigmarsson
Icelandic visual and sound artist Sigtryggur Berg Sigmarsson is known for his work with Stilluppsteypa, numerous solo albums and collaborations with other artists, such as BJ Nilsen, Dennis Tyfus, Anla Courtis, Dan Melchior, irr.app.(ext.), John Olson (Wolf Eyes), Andy Heck Boyd and more.He was born in Akureyri, Iceland and studied sound art at the Fachhochschule in Hannover, Germany from 1998 to 2003. Working on whatever spectrum has dada situation-ey performance vs. minimal laptop drone at each end Sigtryggur will be doing something somewhere within the community of his ‘zero point’ insanity.

Ernst Karel works with sound, including electroacoustic music, experimental nonfiction sound works for multichannel installation and performance, image-sound collaboration, and postproduction sound for nonfiction vilm, with an emphasis on observational cinema. CDs of his often collaborative work, including with the electroacoustic duo with Kyle Bruckmann, EKG, have been released on and/OAR, Another Timbre, Cathnor, Gruenrekorder, Locust, Sedimental, and Sshpuma record labels, and a duo with Bhob Rainey was released in 2024 on Erstwhile.
