Myra Melford + MAT MUNTZ - Semi-orthogonal linear and non-linear pseudomellifluous quasisoliloquy, autobiographical and otherwise. when you are aiming for the heart of the matter, it doesn't matter where you start.
JULIA EDITH RIGBY is a composer, improvisor and sound artist based in Santa Ana, California. She presents a concert work that blends piano, viola, and field recordings to explore sea caves and infrasonic worlds, and the ways that they can expand and entangle our thinking about ritual and breathing, listening and resonance, deep time and sense of place. Rigby will create musical soundscapes that explore ancient landscapes, opening our ears and minds to experimental listening, planetary histories and our place in time.
Cost: $20 (FREE students/underemployed)
