LASSE MARHAUG

Lasse Marhaug is one of the innovators of the norwegian
noise/experimental
scene in collaborations and with various bands. Best known is his glitch
electronic duo Jazzkammer (with John Hegre), Marhaug shares
the same background as Merzbow (with whom he has collaborated with) as
they
are both noise artists who has gone on to produce all their music on
powerbooks. The sound of Marhaug has similarities to the Japanese noise
scene with Merzbow and Otomo Yoshihide, and to Austrias Mego label with
artist such as Pita and Fennesz.

ALEXANDER RISHAUG

Alexander Rishaug is also part of electronic scene in Norway
together with Jazzkammer, Alog, Biosphere, Phonophani . His
sound is melodic, melancholic and quiet. With minimalistic electronics,
abstract beats, glitches and digital noise, he explores tones and
textures
creating a detailed, rich and subtle sound. Always with a sharp focus on
structure, rhythm and melodies. Alexander himself describes the music as
"small melodic changes, amplyfies clicks and skipping, random shifts and
breaks". Smalltown Supersound released his magnificent debut album
"Panorama"

SIR DUPERMANN

Norwegian super-producer Jorgen Traeen aka Sir Dupermann has drawn on
the
influences of buddies Röyksopp and Kim Hiorthøy to create a mind-blowing
debut album of hi-NRG Speaker-shredding free-jazz click-pop.
Sir Dupermann is known as the Norwegian super producer
the man behind the Duper Studio (home of Røyksopp, Kings of Convenience,
Jaga Jazzist et. al.). Out of the wildest chaos of
sounds and rhythms, Træen has created a very compromiseless pop
project. But even though his soundworld may sound chaotic, it is also
very
structured, detailed and complex. He has worked with everything from
harsh
noise, contemporary music and grim black metal to pure electropop and
Fennesz` and Jim O`Rourke abstract style electronics
. Everything performed with the unpretentious attitude of punk rock.
Sir Dupermann‰ is wild, beautiful and obsessive!
