-- ‘A Prayer for World Peace.’

Trumpeter Eddie Gale, San Jose based veteran ‘free jazz’ master (Cecil Taylor’s Unit Structures, Sun Ra’s Arkestra), brings a large group into the Store for two sets of music in the jazz tradition from classic to way outside. Eddie Gale is a world citizen and worker for world peace. ‘Jazz Ambassador’ to the city of San Jose, his music is accessible, as well as experimentally advanced. This band is subtle and strong.
