At 7pm we use a lecture/demonstration format to show
works individually by Dandelion Dancetheater, Patrick
Cress' Telepathy and Nancy Ostrovsky and then the
premier of BellyRoot, a new collaborative work by
Dandelion and Telepathy exploring the way
improvisation and composition manifest in dance and
music, with material drawn from explorations of the
various energy centers (chakras) in the body.
Followed by a discussion on collaboration across
disciplines.
At 9:30pm ODC Theater is transformed into an
avant-garde CLUB/CABARET, for an extended set of
high-powered music by Telepathy, accompanied by a
wall-sized performance created painting by Nancy
Ostrovsky and BellyRoot with Dandelion.
