Cellist, Alexander Kort was born and raised in North Carolina, and performs regularly in both experimental and more traditional idioms. He holds a MA in humanities from SUNY Buffalo, where he performed with Tony Conrad, made installations and created "mindstream", an orchestral arrangement of a song by Meat Beat Manifesto which accompanied his directly animated film. As well as solo work, Kort is a member of the group, Subtle.

Los Angeles-based, Xn. is a solo guitar based project of Chris Schlarb, who also performs with free jazz improvisatory ensemble, Create (!), experimental hip-hop duo, Anticubicle, themorningcall and Slow Valve. Growing out of his love/hate relationship with the instrument, Xn. was seen as a possible way free the guitar from so much of the sonic normalcy that plagues electric guitar music. Xn. is an extension of early Frippertronic experiments and Eno's minimal work with melody and rhythm.

Kitundu is a composer, visual artist, DJ and instrument builder. Constructing elemental turntables that rely of wood, water, fire and earthquakes for their power and pitch, Kitundu uses an inter-disciplinary approach to develop compositions, installations, and instruments that blur the boundaries between media. He has created a family of Phonoharps, beautifully-crafted multi-stringed instruments made from phonographs. He strives to reconnect the technology to fundamental principles drawn from the natural world. Kitundu also composes for dance, theater, and film, and teaches workshops.
