Andre Vida will present selected original score based on his animated creations for live musical interpretation

Vida's inventive use of animation as the basis for a notation system explores the connections between the physical act of sonic performance, interpretation, and musical score. This work is partly an extension of previous experience with musical visionary Anthony Braxton, but also draws on Vida's interest in theatrical staging, animation, and visual art. This evening Andre will preform the music composed with these anmiation forms.
