For those not already familiar, Spirit is one of the most original, inventive drummers and percussionists playing in the Bay Area. Often seen w/ Oluyemi and Ijeoma Thomas as part of Positive Knowledge, he has also been playing with Marco Eneidi, and recently w/ Joelle Leandre at her farewell party.
His sound is equal parts mystery and excitement, full of imagination, expression, subtlety, detail, and power. Don't miss this exciting evening from a true drumming master with surprise guests!
