German cellist Sue Schlotte makes her final Bay Area appearance. Since arriving in Berkeley, she has worked weekly with composer/pianist Goodheart to develop a focused yet spontaneous musical language. They are joined by Goodheart's long-time collaborator Garth Powell.
The East Bay Center provides an ideal space to hear this group. In addition to having an acoustically sound performing space, the Center also contains a Steinway concert grand piano.
FROM THE EAST BAY: Take Interstate 80 north towards Sacramento * Exit onto 580 Richmond * Exit Harbour Way North * Stay on Harbour Way past MacDonald and turn right on Nevin * Go one block to 11th street, turn right * The East Bay Center is half way down the block
FROM THE WEST BAY: Take 580 toward Richmond, crossing the Richmond/San Rafael bridge.* Exit Harbour Way North * Stay on Harbour Way past MacDonald and turn right on Nevin * Go one block to 11th street, turn right we are half way down the block.
