Jewels in the Square at Union Square Park, the freshly renovated San Francisco Landmark is bordered by Geary, Post, Stockton and Powell Streets just across from Macy's. It features a large outdoor stage and lots of seating to host the free public performance series:2 blocks North of The Powell St. Bart and Muni Lines, Union Square Park has convenient underground parking in the Union Square Garage. The SF Parks Trust Organization's sponsored: Jewels in the Square is also made possible by The SF Recreation and Parks Department, The Union Square Association, Uptown Parking and The Union Square Park Management /MJM Mgmt. Group. Performances are every Wednesday at Noon and Sunday at 2pm (also monthly evening shows with The Flying Other Brothers) and feature a varied group of San Francisco entertainers, including: blues bands, dance troupes, poets, improv groups and punk rockers.
