The Palms is happy to host our 3rd straight Jazz Summit this year with The Teakayo Mission: and the Tony Passarell Quartet. The Teakayo Mission includes
Ross Hammond on guitar, David Boyce on Saxophone, Electronics,
Scott Amendola on drums, electronics,
Lisa Mezzacappa on bass, and Joaquin McPeek-percussion. They are celebrating their new cd release. Playing first is the Tony Passarrell Quartet, led by longtime Sacramento jazzman Tony Passarell on saxophone and keys. With Tony are Tom Monson on drums, Dax Compise on percussion, and Brian Clark on bass. This evening will be a great opportunity to hear some of the regions best in the style of nu-jazz and improvisation.
