
Bay Areas own acclaimed avant-electro, one-woman-orchestra cellist, Zoe Keating will develop and perform a live score to her very own San Francisco bus tour route for an audience on a bus. Station hosted by the deYoung Museum on a special viewing night of featured exhibitions Dale Chihuly and Timothy Horn.
Conceived by Soundwave Artistic Director Alan So for MOVE SOUND, the AudioBus is a moving venue, giving audiences an adventurous sonic experience like never before. The sound artists and musicians curated for the AudioBus compose their San Francisco route and perform live scores to the scenery moving past them. An Audiobus system map will be created for passengers with leading art institutions the de Young Museum, New Langton Arts, Art Engine and Queens Nails Annex serving as bus station gathering places to check-in, wait, nibble, drink, buy merchandise and take in their latest exhibitions.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: A waiver of liability is required to be signed at Check-in to board bus. Ticket holders must check-in at the station AT LEAST 15 MINUTES before scheduled departure or ticket will be released to the standby waitlist. NO REFUNDS, TRANSFERS or EXCHANGES to another AudioBus departure or event will be available. Check-in booth will open at 6pm inside AudioBus Station however most stations will be open to the public during the day for exhibition viewing. First people to check-in will have priority choice of seating.
