CMASH presents its second annual New American Chamber Music program at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Pre-concert discussion with composers Jake Heggie and Liam Wade. CMASH is a new-music repertory group dedicated to establishing long-term collaborative relationships between composers and performers representing multiple musical aesthetics. CMASH artists aim to build community through supportive relationships that connect creative artists, interpretive artists, and listeners. This annual event is an opportunity for CMASH composers to premiere new works alongside the music of more established composers. This year CMASH is excited to highlight new and recently written works for voice and piano. Featured works include: Rise and Fall, Jake Heggie; On Love: 3 Songs for Soprano & Piano, John Thow; Silver Apples, Liam Wade; AveM, JooWan Kim; A.E.
