Improv + Lasagna = Winning Combination?
For those that can't afford Yoshi's ticket prices, or perhaps just aren't all that into what Zorn has to offer, we at the Golden Trapperkeeper present a healthy alternative for what ails ya. Allow us to elaborate.
In what could potentially be the first of many, the GTKLodge presents its first improv concert, featuring a wholesome cast of musicians, wholesome food and good spirits, open and welcome to one and all.
On the bill we got:
a solo performance by Bryce Beverlin II - percussion (and from Minneapolis!)
a duo performance courtesy of
Jon Raskin & Kanoko Nishi (electronics + koto) and
a trio featuring Jay Korber, Randy Lee Sutherland & Kevin Wooodruff (drums + saxes)
Extreme potential for lasagna or some other similar multi-layered food creation by resident lodges technicians. However, if you think you can do a better job than us in that department, we welcome you to bring down your finest culinary concoctions for side-by-side comparisons.
Doors at 8, sounds when appropriate. Insect-eyed Dangerfiend and other porch decorations mark the spot.
