Threetwentytwo is a parlor-improv duo featuring Chris Broderick on woodwinds, and Angela Hsu on violin & psaltery. Chris has been working on the fringes of the local improvised music community, having performed with various ad hoc ensembles, including Moe! Staiano's Moe!Kestra. He has also performed with Six Eye Columbia, Gamelan X, and compo-microdexall. Recently, he has composed music for stage plays, including Shotgun Players' performances of The Forest War (with percussionist Daniel Bruno) and The Three Musketeers, as well as California Shakespeare Theatre's performance of Comedy of Errors (with Jake Rodriguez and Mike Guarino). Angela Hsu is a graduate of Mills' College performance program and a refugee from the local classical music scene. She performs regularly in a duo with Jim Kaiser, and has worked with musicians including Sean Smith, Moe!Kestra, Magic Magic Orchestra, and many others.
