Irregular Resolutions, a Bay Area composers group, presents its 5th annual concert at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Community Music Center, 544 Capp Street, San Francisco. This year’s concert features diverse approaches to composing music for voice. Accompaniment is provided variously by piano, clarinet, French horn, and accordion. The composers have chosen lyrics by poets ranging from impudent 13th century Italian poet Cecco Angiolieri, contemporary Palo Alto-based poet Esther Kamkar, 17th century English poet and politician Edmund Waller, and the American icon Walt Whitman.
