Resipiscent steps to you this All Hallows week with our 2009 twilight (5pm) record release party...

Ralph White, Austin's famed tree doctor and former member of the Bad Livers has returned from his sojourn in Namibia, master of the kalimba, wooden six-string banjo, violin, accordion and a singular voice with "a high, eerie quality that's extremely psychedelic" (David Keenan, The Wire UK). Ralph will be joined by SF's own Hora Flora on prophylactic drum+brass and electronics in support of their new collaborative release on Resipiscent.

Schnuffler, the smoldering debut of duo two truly intense musicians, Gino Robair and Liz Allbee (back briefly from Berlin for one show only!) Schnuffler will play in support of their unique cassette release. Allbee's solo cassette plus her entirely new solo CD "Theseus vs" will be available for the first time.

Hans Grusel and his dead synthetic friends will play in support of the amazing new compilation "Serge Modular Users 2009". The roof of Annie's Social Club will be removed and a wall of Serge modules lowered in by crane. Sounds that must be seen to be believed!

Loachfillet's newest full length "Electric Pond: Solar Solution" is a veritable Niagara falls of the spacetime continuum. Not only will this CD, his finest work yet, debut at this show, Count Loach himself will direct you into the swirling sucking vortex of sound then tapeloop you right back to your feet.

Note: this is an early show, doors 5pm--> show 6pm sharp. Ring in Halloween week at the sun dies on Sunday, Oct. 25, Annie's Social Club in San Francisco.
