Ron Heglin is a Trombonist and Vocalist working with extended technique on the Trombone and with spoken and sung imaginary languages as a Vocalist.His vocal music has been influenced by his study of North Indian vocal music. He works both compositionally and in an improvisational mode and is a member of the Bay Area music context as well as performing internationally. He is a founding member of the groups MUSIC FOR ALL OCCASIONS, ROTODOTI, and BRASSIOSAURUS, and has performed with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Leo Smith, Henry Brant, Logos Duo, Tim Perkis, John Bischoff,Tom Djll,and Toyoji Tomita.

Tom Djll studied music at Berklee School of Music, the Colorado College, the Creative Music Studio, and Mills College's Center for Contemporary Music. Teachers include Anthony Braxton, Roscoe Mitchell, Karl Berger, Lester Bowie, Leo Smith, George Lewis, Pauline Oliveros, and Alvin Curran. He is the recipient of a 'Deeploma' from the Deep Listening Organization as well as a Masters degree in Electronic Music from Mills College, where he was also awarded the Paul Merritt Henry Prize for Composition. Tom has led improvising workshops in California and New Mexico and in 2004 completed a monthlong residency at Mills, focusing on extended techniques. In 2007 Tom was featured in the film Noisy People, a document of the San Francisco Bay Area experimental music scene. 2003 and 2008 saw stagings of Mockracy, for co-operative orchestra, actors, electronics and live video.

. . . is a brand-new formation of experienced instrumentalists who have been exploring the boundaries and beyond in jazz and experimental music idioms.
- Jim Ryan flute, alto sax, & amplified kalimba, has been on the scene for over twelve years and founded Forward Energy (high energy free style jazz) and The Left Coast Improv Group (a free floating chamber ensemble which has been performing since 2002)
- Amber Lamprecht received a degree in music performance on the oboe from the University of Colorado. She has performed and recorded almost every type of music as a session player and improvisatory instrumentalist in the San Francisco area on both oboe and flute
- Theo Padouvas is a recent addition to the Bay Area scene arriving from New York City just under a year ago. He has twenty years of experience on the trumpet.
- Bill Noertker was born in Pasadena, CA, started on electric bass in 1974. He studied music under Bobby Bradford in the 80's, moved to San Francisco, began playing double bass and studied composition, becoming a fixture in the S.F. music scene. In 2001, with saxophonist Rent Romus, He began producing the Static Illusion/Methodical Madness music series.
- Sam Ospovat began playing percussion in the 5th grade . . . he received his MFA in percussion performance from Mills College, has been playing with great regularity in many Bay Area groups,and is working on a collection of solo percussion pieces that will be issued on CD in the Fall.
