Aaron Novik's Gubbish was started about 4 years ago to explore simple song forms combining diverse influences, heavy on eastern european folk and klezmer as well as jazz.

The band uses unusual time signatures, adventerous harmonies, and a unique instrumentation to create a quirky yet melodic sound.
