Temoleh is Rodolfo Córdova-Lebron, Nathan Corder and Matt Robidoux. This trio was borne of a spirit discovered on a 2019 tour of the US-Mexico California borderland with Monopiece, an adjacent project involving all members. With the relocation of one key member of that group, we carry on in a new configuration extolling the mantra “temoleh–temoleh / find it–find it” which best describes our improvisatory practice.

Saxophonist Michael Foster and percussionist Ben Bennett have been active collaborators ever since discovering a strong musical affinity 6 years ago. Through a myriad of techniques and unpredictable structures, Foster and Bennett deconstruct and embrace the cannon of the improvised saxophone and drum duo. Their explorations of the tradition transform the ecstatic into the hysteric, the virtuosic into the satirical, placing all performative gestures of catharsis and restraint under rigorous interrogation.  More...
