LMNts Trio + Aaron Bennett

The LMNts Trio is a collaboration between Scott R. Looney (piano,prepared piano, electronics), Lisa Mezzacapa (bass), and Kjell Nordeson (percussion), and the group has been playing together in person since before the pandemic, remotely during the pandemic, and in person again since the pandemic subsided. The communication between the players is telepathic and ranges widely from free jazz to textural explorations of contrasting density and space.

For this concert’s second set we’ll be joined by the amazing Aaron Bennett on saxophone and we’ll be breaking into small groupings of duos and different trios, plus the full quartet, to explore combinations with our guest as well. This is a new experience and is not to be missed!
