Dr. Kiyasu's snare drum experience
Ryosuke Kiyasu is an internationally acclaimed snare drum soloist active since 2003, known for his unique approach to music and performance. Travelling the world with just a snare drum, a table and a mic, his polarizing sets bend the lines between music and art. Known for his aggression and bold antics, he quickly amassed a huge following on social media in recent years. We invite you to come be a part of this unique and avant garde experience!
The event is hosted by Aglet Noise Collective, a student-run club for artists and creatives all about the avant garde, mix media performances and new music. Members of the club will perform an ambient and noisey closing set.
SET TIMES:

Gautam Tejas Ganeshan Residency
Feb 12, 13, 14
Gautam Tejas Ganeshan is on a fascinating, in-depth musical journey - one which continues until this very moment, and whose nature is well described by a name, from nearly twenty years ago, of an installation he once sang for: *Enter the Center* ( … which somebody watched from a bathtub, and while unloading the instruments for which he also had to change a flat tire.) Since then, he has brought "new music from an old tradition" (SFJAZZ) to the SF Museum of Modern Art, the Asian Art Museum (SF), the UC Berkeley Art Museum, the Headlands Center for the Arts, and much more - and has been called upon to guest-lecture and teach at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Stanford Jazz Workshop, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, and elsewhere.
