Bruce Ackley-Nava Dunkelman Duo

For listener-diners’ delight, we’ll offer a saxophone and percussion duo. The soprano sax and clarinet have special timbral relationships to percussion, which naturally blossom with Nava’s unique instrumental palette. It brings to mind the music of Edgard Varèse, who has been on my mind a lot recently. We’ll create contrasting soundscapes evocative of the shortening days, and the shift to the inner worlds of autumn and winter.

A slightly spicy but highly flavored (hot sauces available) homemade blend of spices and dried fruit (yeah, we dried up some Matsumoto Farm Sun Crest Peaches) with potato, pumpkin, lotus root, eggplant, tofu and tempeh
Fukujin Zuke a traditional Japanese pickle usually served with curries.
