Thollem McDonas brings together two unique memorial projects for prominent members of the musical community: Pauline Oliveros and Stefano Scodanibbio.
Trio Music Minus One is a duo project between Thollem (Keyboard/Analog Effects) and
Gino Robair (Drum Set/Electronics) that creates the contours of a sonic space for a third person in memoriam. This will be the first live performance - in memory of Pauline Oliveros. In 2013, the duo released an album on Setola di Maiale for their mutual friend/colleague/collaborator, Dennis Palmer.
Evolutions For Stefano will be performed for the first time on this continent as a trio with
Lisa Mezzacappa (Bass) and
Christina Stanley (Violin/Voice).
