Serving the San Francisco Bay Area New Music Community

Sat, Apr 29 2017 8:00 PM

Composer/performer collective LA Signal Lab returns to Northern California with a genre-defying program of new works featuring two of Los Angeles’s most dynamic and exciting new-music groups, HOCKET and Aperture Duo. The eclectic ensemble - - two fiddles, two pianos, and three horns - - blurs distinctions between improvised and through-composed music in a concert centered on “Water and Power,” a theme that continues to grow in social and ecological relevance.
