gabby fluke-mogul is a performing, teaching, composing, & collaborating-improviser (violin, voice, movement) based out of the Bay Area. Through improvising//composing, gfm hopes to create space for individual & collective intersectional process, deep listening, healing, laughter, intimacy, & narrative. they are interested in the sensual nature of sound—how desire & eroticism are embodied & translated within the political & poetic context(s) of improvisation. gabby holds a BA from Hampshire College (Amherst, MA) in Music & Critical Studies of Childhood, Youth, and Learning and a MFA in Music Performance and Literature with Improvisation Specialization from Mills College (Oakland, CA) where they worked with Pauline Oliveros, Zeena Parkins, India Cooke, Fred Frith, Roscoe Mitchell, Kala Ramnath, & Kara Davis. gabby believes in the power of listening, improvisation, babies, children, & kindness. gfm performs with a variety of ensembles & collaborative projects in addition to facilitating community-based workshops & teaching (toddlers-adults) in public, private, & non-profit learning spaces.

Matt Robidoux (b.1985) is an Oakland, CA based composer, guitarist, sound therapist, filmmaker and concert promoter. He is interested in unifying the relationships of performer, environment, and experiencer; compositions in the public/collective sphere; performing in unconventional spaces and settings; class and accessibility within contemporary art musics; the healing potentials of music improvisation.

k. kipperman is a musician, composer, improviser, sounder, listener, and teacher currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. They have also lived, worked, and breathed deeply in New Hampshire, Boston, China, Western Massachusetts, and Berlin, Germany. k. has taught undergraduate music theory, listening, and musicianship courses at Hampshire College (Amherst, MA) and Mills College (Oakland, CA), and holds a BA in Music & German from Hampshire College, as well as an MA in Music Composition from Mills College.

Kevin Schwenkler is a composer-performer currently enrolled in the MA in Composition program at Mills College in Oakland, California. His influences include Bach, Ives, and Julius Eastman. As a composer, Kevin is primarily interested in creating landscapes beyond mere vibration in which to suspend the bodies of both listeners and performers. As an improvisor, Kevin is interested in sonic arts as a means of communication plumbing depths beyond the linguistic.
