HUSH Series — Daniel Corral’s Polytope (NorCal Premiere)
Daniel Corral’s Polytope exists somewhere between a string quartet, Kraftwerk, James Turrell, and an Indonesian dhalang (master shadow puppeteer). A multimedia electronic piece for a live MIDI quartet performed entirely in darkness, it combines just intonation and hypnotic rhythms with colorful live feed projections acting as a visual score.
