Hypercolor (Lukas Ligeti - drums, Eyal Maoz - guitar, and James Ilgenfritz - electric bass) combines avant-jazz, new music, no wave, African and Israeli traditions, holding its opposing urges in an electrifying tension that is both melodic and deconstructive. Hypercolor are preparing to record the follow-up to their eponymous debut album, which was released 2015 on John Zorn's Tzadik label.
