Alon Nechushtan Trio / Scott Amendola Duo: Contemporary Jazz & Improvised Music

Pianist and composer Alon Nechushtan has toured both in the U.S. and beyond, releasing 10 critically acclaimed albums as a leader and showcasing “abundant chemistry and boundless eclecticism” (All About Jazz). For a night of original contemporary jazz and improvisational grooves, the trio is also joined by Scott Amendola Duo.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Alon Nechushtan has collaborated with jazz greats including William Parker, Don Byron, Donny McCaslin, Bob Moses, Ben Allison, John Ellis, Chris Cheek, Chris Speed, Mark Helias, Mark Dresser, Andrew Cyrile, Kenny Wollesen, Ben Goldberg, Daniel Carter, Ned Rothenberg, Robert Dick, Steve Swell, Dan Weiss, Francois Moutin, Bob Gulotti, John Lockwood, and Ken Filiano. A resident of New York City, Nechushtan has performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Central Park Summer Stage, The Blue Note Jazz Club, and the Kennedy Center. His musical adventures have brought him to Yokohama, Manila, Sao-Paolo, Toronto, Montreal, and Tel Aviv. (Photo by: Yossi Zwecker)
