Rodolfo Córdova and
Theresa Wong set off noises, squeaks, whizzes, pops and melodies with voices, electronics and cello. Rodolfo Córdova is a vocalist, composer and improviser whose work fuses diverse influences with electronic media, chance operations, gradual processes, noise, improvisation, extended vocal and timbral techniques of composition.
Theresa Wong is a cellist, vocalist and composer active at the intersection of music, experimentation, improvisation and the synergy of multiple disciplines.
Seiyoung Jang (b. 1993) is a composer, improviser, and maker currently based in Oakland, CA. She aims to celebrate manifestations of organic forms in resistance of thoughtless sterility, with a focus on intersubjectivity and embodiment. She has studied with Laetitia Sonami, James Fei, Ted Coffey, Maggi Payne, Chris Brown, and Pauline Oliveros, among others. She obtained her MFA in Electronic Music and Recording Media from Mills College, Oakland, CA, and a BA in Psychology and Music from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA. Seiyoung will be headed to Boston in the fall to pursue a PhD in Creative Practice & Critical Inquiry at Harvard University, studying with Vijay Iyer.
