Lorin Benedict is an improvising vocalist living in Emeryville, CA. Specializing in small collective improvisation in both highly structured and less structured settings, he has played recently with Kasey Knusden, Eric Vogler, Ches Smith, Sam Ospovat, Caroline Davis, Ron Heglin, Matt Mitchell, Kim Cass, and many others.

gabby fluke-mogul is an improvising violinist, composer, & educator living in Oakland, CA. they speak through languages of the jazz continuum, avant-garde, & folk traditions, deeply embodying the violin in their solo & ensemble playing. Through composing/performing, gfm hopes to create space for individual & collective intersectional process, intimacy, & vulnerability. they are interested in the sensual nature of sound—how queer desire & eroticism are embodied & translated within the political & poetic contexts of improvisation.


Faults is a collective of three improvisers who come together to mix audio and video to present a soundscape bringing the organic and urban world together. Jorge Bachmann is a media artist, experimental composer.
