Earl Howard is a composer, performer and improviser on saxophones and electronics. His method of creating orchestrated sounds with electronics and processing live improvisation creates unique, densely layered textures. He received a Guggenheim Fellowship to create “Superstrings” (2011), a Regents Fellowship at UCSD, three NYFA Fellowships, as well as Harvard's Fromm Foundation Commission. His CDs are available on Mutable Music and New World Records. Earl lives in a New York since graduating from Cal Arts in 1974. https://earlhowardmusic.com/
