QUARTET
Kyle Bruckmann - oboe, english horn
Evelyn Davis - prepared piano
Haley Freedlund - trombone
Phillip Greenlief - saxophones

QUARTET is celebrating the arrival of Haley Freedlund, a fiercely intelligent improviser from seattle who is passing through the bay area this month. Greenlief has played with Freedlund in the great pacific
northwest and says, "she's got big ears, an expansive sound palette, and great sensitivity". what's not to like?

The group will play two sets - one set of free improvisation and one set of original compositions by the members of the group. In addition to presenting three stalwart bay improvisers/new music wunderkinds, please join us in this rare performance with Haley Freedlund.
