Evicshen
Victoria Shen (she/her) is a sound artist, experimental music performer and inventor born and raised in San Francisco. Shen's sound practice is concerned with the spatiality/physicality of sound and its relationship to the human body. Her music features analog modular synthesizers (Flower Electronics), amplified objects and other self-built electronics. These instruments are designed to electronically reproduce chaotic systems which are highly sensitive to small changes in their initial parameters. The resulting music eschews conventions in harmony and rhythm in favor of extreme textures and gestural tones.
Recently, her debut LP Hair Birth features copper album art that transforms the cover into a speaker through which the record can be played. Shen is also the inventor of Needle Nails, acrylic nails with embedded turntable needles allowing one to play up to 5 tracks of a record at once.

John Davis + Keith Evans

John Davis is a Northern California artist exploring the relationship between moving image and sound. Through live performance and studio-based projects, his work encourages sensory response through unexpected uses of traditional media.

Keith Evans is a paranaturalist, investigating the natural and historic narratives of the Bay Area landscape primarily through an expanded idea of cinema and performance. His artwork is created in a cross-media array; Using language, graphics, book arts, installation, kinetic sculpture, dance, film, video and sound. His most recent works were utube, for Shapeshifters Cinema and an installation, neither here nor there, as part of Ambient Dew Point, a gallery exhibition displaying works by Bay Area media artists.

For Re:Sound, Keith and John orchestrate permutations on the theme of transfiguration, utilizing various refrains found within visual and sound artifacts, implementing a cross-pollination approach to media and methodology.

Suki O'Kane joins revered collaborators Adria Otte (electronics), Jacob Felix Heule and Kevin Corcoran (drums and hand-held projections) in an exploration of gesture, light, sound, set, and setting.
