Cheryl Leonard
Sculptural instruments built from bone, ice, stone, and any infinitely varied natural surfaces played live. These treasures of sound are retrieved by Leonard from the farthest reaches, Arctic to Antarctic, dry desert to estuary to mountain peak. Micro-aural worlds contained within her sound sources are mic'd and amplified for compositions that extend the unique voices they embody. Her instruments can range from tiny eucalptus-leaf miniatures to a 30-foot tall installation in an oak tree, showing you the way out to the world through your ear.

Ancients figured the future as the labor of The Fates, three sisters: one spinning the thread, another measuring their days, the third cutting them off. Three thousand years along, time is spun from electrons, measured in oscillations, and cut into waves by the mysterious triad of Foot SOS: Theresa Currie (A Lucy Noise Project), Dianne Lynn (Nurse Betty/Homoglochini) and Angela Roberts (Cruel Work, editor of the zine Supertrooper) weave destiny from inside the heart of the Peacock. All pupil, no eggwhite, this new duo featuring Mitch Stahlmann and Brendon Glasson. Best experienced crouching in a corner, but seating will be provided.
