Hassan Estakhrian is a multi-disciplinary musician based in California. He is a composer, performer, songwriter, intermedia artist, producer, music technologist, audio engineer, and educator. He intertwines these disciplines and collides musical genres that span across pop, rock, jazz, experimental, electronic, and contemporary classical music. Hassan performs and records on multiple instruments including voice, electric bass, guitar, keyboards, drum set, computer, and a slew of other instruments. His assortment of works include rock operas, chamber pieces, games with adaptive graphic scores, structured improvisation, and intermedia stories based in fantasy and science fiction. As a technologist and engineer, he develops systems for music production, compositional aid, and live performance and does research in virtual acoustics and immersive audio. Hassan is the musical director of his band- Antenna Fuzz and is a member of other groups such as Valerian Sun and Meoark. He is currently a doctoral candidate in music composition at Stanford University.
