Antimatter
What is the voltage of static electricity that courses over your skin standing each of five million hairs straight on end? Can the answer be derived quantitatively from the waveforms cascading against malleus, anvil and stapes to trigger follicle surge? Or is math itself lost in the abstraction to qualitative, perceptual, and metaphysical sense? Such shortcuts to madness are best explored through the complexities of minimal materialism, particles of sound as sculpted by Antimatter, the solo project of Xopher Davidson.

Famous Techno
The incandescent presence of Kim West is well known to Bay Area humans who've seen her fronting such prolific bands as Crack W.A.R. and Death Sentence: Panda! There's also her striking and unmistakable visual art and design practice at ALTR Studio. But recognition is often only skin deep. For those who would detect the nuclear clock burning at the core of a star you'd better be prepared to still your mind and listen. West's precise experiments with synthesizer reveal between oscillations, beneath dazzling shifts and smeared frequencies, between darkness and light, there rests a first-stillness from whence the cosmos blinds all the night. If you find yourself leaping suddenly from your seat, even odds say you won't come down again.

Sholeh Asgary
Iranian-born interdisciplinary sound artist Sholeh Asgary's work implicates you in future mythological excavations, bridging large swathes of time and history through water, water clocks, crude oil, movement, light, voice, AM transmissions, frequency interference and language. For Asgary the environment and innate properties of everyday objects become the ether for direct communication.

Audre
Michael Gendreau (Crawling With Tarts) and Jorge Bachman (Ruidobello) work from the inside out, an ancient seed set deep in a dark mass proves to anything but silent if you can get your mind's ear in there. No tree falling, no missed forest, no hands clapping, Audre summons infrasound beyond silence. You mustn't miss this chance to bury your eyes and plumb the depths of structures within structures within forms within time. Disregard the modular synths, shortwave radio, turntables and field recorders arrayed before the musicians, what you'll hear cannot be seen.
