Pet the Tiger Instrument iInventors’ Collective is an ever shifting constellation of Bay Area performers who either build or deconstruct their own instruments. Exploring free improvisation, deep timbre, extended technique, and collaborative composition, PTT has been commissioned by most major museums in the Bay Area and played a number of local festivals (include name drop here). PTT was the house band for Psychobotanikon, a low dose mushroom tea concert series at New Mission Yoga and for the Turquoise yantra grotto, from 2013-2023.
Members of the Evidence Trio are or have been part of a number of configurations of the Bay Area creative music scene, including the M-KAT Ensemble, the Cosmists, Ouroboros, Cloud Shepherd, the Diaspora Focii Trio, Feral Luggage, and Cartoon Justice. The music of the Evidence Trio is a sonic investigation of the evidence of existence through texture and vibration, from the microcosm to the macrocosm and back again.
